That was a time when her mother appeared ill, and Chiharu thought she was going to die. Hence, miraie was written, hoping to eternalise their memories. [It turned out to be a mistake though, as her mother shortly recovered. And Kinjou Ayano(the pianist of kiroro) whose childhood dreams was to become a nurse, reprimanded Chiharu, saying that “You could have used the time to compose this song to take care of your mom instead…”] This song can “simply” be regarded as a “beautiful mistake”^Ô^ Also, it was selected to become part of the Japanese music textbook syllabus(Best friend, another song by kiroro, was selected as well)
